Intelligent Speed Adaptation (ISA)
Have you ever driven along a road and wondered what speed you should be travelling at? Transport for London (TfL) Road Safety Unit commissioned the development of an Intelligent Speed Adaptation (ISA) together with their technology partner Technolution.

ISA
ISA is designed to support the driver in their driving activity. Vehicles with ISA are equipped with a display. This display indicates the speed limit for that road along with a green, orange, or red smiley symbol and a warning signal to show to the driver their speed and more importantly the correct speed limit for that road.
If the motorist wishes, the system can automatically reduce the speed of the vehicle to the applicable maximum speed so safety is increased and fines can be avoided. The driver always has the ability to override the system, in for example an emergency.

The ISA solution is implemented with Technolution's MobiBoxx® technology.
