SpitsScoren
The Verkeersonderneming, a body set up to promote traffic flow in the Rotterdam conurbation, is behind various mobility projects designed to reduce the volume of traffic on the A15 motorway by 20%. Of this, the SpitsScoren consortium is taking responsibility for 5%. Within this consortium, Technolution is working together with NedMobiel Mobility Services, ABN AMRO and Goudappel Coffeng.

Unique approach
The way in which SpitsScoren reduces traffic is unique; paying drivers €5 per time to avoid the rush hour.
- Each day, the participants make a conscious choice on how to travel;
- They are sent information about journey times and alternatives via a smart phone;
- The participants then submit their choice of transport for that day;
- The smart phone, which has GPS capability, checks the participants' mobility behaviour;
- Participants can keep track of how much they have earned at spitsscoren.nl.
Within the consortium, Technolution provides:
- The smart phone application
- The central system for the following functions:
- management of the participants file
- communication with all the smart phones issued
- collecting all GPS data
- collecting number plate data from ANPR cameras
- monitoring the mobility behaviour of the participants
- keeping track of and paying out the balance to each of the participants
